Commercial software with public sources to let you learn iOS programming: available on GitHub
My name is Alexandre Fenyo, I'm currently living in the suburbs of Paris, the capital city of France. I've started programming using the BASIC language in year 1979 on a PET CBM 4032 personal computer, more than four decades ago. The following year, I discovered the assembly language on a Sinclair ZX-81 extremely low-cost computer. After that, I've had the opportunity to work on many eclectic and open computers: C64, Atari ST, Vax VMS mini-computer, RS/6000 IBM RISC-based Unix servers, SunOS/Solaris Sparc multi-processor workstations, Silicon Graphics 3D workstations, high-performances parallel machines...
As a network engineer and an independant programmer, I mainly publish open-source free software on my github account, but since I need an income to continue to develop quality software, I also write commercial software since 1994 when I sold a Unix/X-Window app to the french state-owned aerospace manufacturer. I'm developing mobile apps since year 2001 when I published some WindowsCE/PocketPC apps. About 10 years later, I published VPN-over-DNS in 2012, a free software for Android that reached more than 100 000 downloads after a decade on the Google Play store:
